- Customer order data: order items, totals, table or pickup details, and any contact information your customers choose to share at the point of sale.
- Support communications: messages, screenshots, or files you send when contacting support.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: device model, operating system, app version, IP address, language, time zone, crash logs, and feature usage analytics.
- Cookies and similar technologies on our website to remember preferences and measure traffic.
Voice and AI input
When staff use the AI voice ordering feature, audio is captured and transmitted to our AI provider (Google Gemini) to transcribe speech and match menu items. Audio is processed for the order and is not retained beyond what is necessary to provide and improve the feature.

- To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To process orders, payments, and reporting on your behalf.
- To authenticate users and protect accounts from unauthorized access.

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but work continuously to protect your data.

JhaPOS supports offline operation. Orders entered while offline are stored locally on your device and synced to our servers when connectivity is restored. Until sync, this data resides only on your device.
